1. There is a stage beside the Tiki bar with live music and a hula show every night starting at 18:30; you have to be careful when picking your chair, because like most places in Hawaii, birds (and their poop) are everywhere.

4. Great informational breakfast, the activities center will book any and all activities you may want to attend (whale watching, snorkling, etc), every need is taken care of for you.

5. We did complain to hotel staff and spoke with a hotel manager who politely explained that KBH does allow smoking, but is careful to follow state law.

6. We never tried the on sight pool, just seemed a little small especially compared to the mammoth pools of all the surrounding resorts, but really we didn't care since we were there for the ocean.
