1. A few years ago we booked a three nite stay in the fairmont in San Francisco and it could not get any better for hospitality or accomodations.

4. As for location, if your are a tourist in San Francisco there is no better place - even to get to the main shopping areas such as Union Square it is so easy and such fun by cable car.
