1. We went on to spend several days in the Hilton at Key Largo and then The Double Tree Grand Resort in Key West, completely different, absolutely wonderful, the service staff and accommodation were excellent.

7. There are lot of families who stay with 2 adults and 3 children in one room (i wondered how it works but seems the hotel sold it this way) so it shows when they let in all people for breakfast without queueing in line, uncleaned tables, not enough waiters who can take care, 15 minutes wait for coffee, buffet not refilled with everything, All over all not enjoyable.
"Not really a RIU Hotel standard " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/3/2008 Vote
8. don`t know where they get that from i`d rate as 3* at best for america u`d expect luxury with 4 *s not here want to know whyit`s not an american hotel chain i`ts spanish hence the high proportion of spanish/hispanic staff and customers the main features that are good include garden and pool areas, waiting staff in the dining room, particlarly sureyda, who was wonderful for the whole time we were there and general cleanliness in the hotel the lifts continue to be a problem one which is ancient but working and the other which will be new when it`s done remember the spanish ownership here.
