The nice thing is there was a Keurig in room, but if your a die hard coffee drinker
like
me just call the front desk and ask them to send up additional k-cups and codiments.

The only thing I didn't
like
(and this seems to be standard in higher-end hotels these days) was a bathroom mirror with insufficient lighting to do makeup.

Breakfast was wonderful, not a buffet

other places.

The exercise/fitness room is small, and warm (
like
a sauna), but the equipment was in top notch form and good variety.

I
like
this place because it's a beautiful, relaxed scene that you can go to with friends and just relax.

I'm not a cheap person but I am very capable of parking my car myself and
like
the freedom of getting it whenever I
like
instead of calling down for it or standing and waiting while the valet fetches my car.

I feel
like
the regular Marriotts have better towels.

Comparing the W Midtown, Lowes Midtown, and this Renaissance, I'd pick either this or the W (although I really
like
the more understated design of this hotel over the W).

The showerhead is a Speakman and I
like
the basic, solid nature of that - but the pressure seemed a bit low.
