1. We were in 2 minds after reading some reviews about time share (nobody mentioned it to us during our stay) They run a free shuttle to Disney daily twice a day - it's actually a bus company (Maingate) 8am & 10am which takes you to the ticket and convention centre so your can hope on the free Disney buses or mono rail just outside Magic Kingdom.

2. a safe deposit box is down at the reception which you have to wait for if all are full plus you have to ask for someone to open up the door so you can get at it and if there are people waiting to book in you must wait till there are free to take you .

3. So called newspapers are limited to a few per day yet it shows in there information they are available free in lobby, no phone book in room, No bar or even a snack bar for you at the pool.

5. Bass fishing is available from the wooden jetty and its free if you only fish from the jetty boats can be hired from the nearby watersports centre.

6. Since parking is free at Downtown Disney there are NO direct buses to the Theme parksRachel was very helpful I hope she is there next year when come back to Disney/UniversalThis is the best place to see fire works.

9. On arrival we were met at the carpark and taken into reception to register,nice touch,checked in no problem and were then offered to speak to girl about getting a free breakfast and $100 dollars off our stay,sales pitch but said no thanks and were never contacted again.

If you happen to miss your bus back to the hotel and don't want to wait for the next one a good tip is to get the Disney bus to Downtown Disney which is free and then jump into a taxi, a Taxi is about $25 from the Transport hub to Blue Heron but only about $12 form Downtown DisneyWe were very happy and enjoyed our stay at the Blue Heron thoroughly; we would not hesitate to stay there again.
