2. The hotel itself is not luxurious but is very close to the beach and we had a view to the sea and the swimming pool- very nice, I must admit.

The entire Canadian contingent, us, and several other conventioners were moved to the luxurious Royal Palm, where we found a huge suite with full services, a wonderful view of the beach and the city thanks to our corner room, and a staff that shared our horror in the Deauville and our delight in the Royal Palm.

5. The rooms and bathrooms were luxurious and very clean, with magnificent views over the beach and Atlantic Ocean as well as Biscayne Bay with the skyline of Miami City, which is magnificent at night.
