4. Concierge - Hit or miss; There was a gentleman who was an excellent Concierge - he even offered to search for different car rental rates if we were ready and was aware of a company that would give better rates than their competitors.

5. By the way, we booked with Magellan vacations and were given a really good room rate which was better than any website - I believe they have a 'special' relationship with the Gansevoort and are able to give really good rates.

6. Travelling with my brother-in-law and nephew on vacation we could not have found a better hotel for three guys to stay.

7. The Gansevoort is considerably less costly than the W next door, but the rooms are bigger/better - in my opnion.
