5. most people dont know catalina is actually 3 properties all in a row (catalina, dorchester & maxine) of the 3 my fave is maxine but all are cool.

7. There is a restaurant/lounge in the Maxine building that was very cool, but as in all Miami, the drinks will set you back a few bucks - however, the hotel does a free happy hour every day from 7-8 in all buildings.
