5. I like the snorkeling in West Maui better than South Maui and you can get an entire residence with full kitchen there for half the price as the Fairmont.

7. Fridge does not have a freezer box inside it like some mini-fridges do.

8. There were some minor items like older looking face plates on the electric outlet in the bathroom that seemed oddly original and were a little dated, but it was nothing like what some of the reviews on here seemed to indicate.

9. We spent a lot of time exploring the island, not shacked up at the resort, so we enjoyed ourselves very much and then liked coming back to a spacious suite and not a small room.

10. We probably would have been happy staying at any of these resorts in Wailea, and for our next trip the decision will most likely come down to price and the best deal at that time.
