3. our room was newer and nice and clean but the balcony had a 10 foot solid cement wall around it (no view) and was next to a huge generator.

The irony of all this is that, as we were leaving on the last morning or our stay, we realized that, for the 1st time, we were finally noticing the hotel's large and sparkling swimming pool, the tall shelves of books in many of the hallways, and a semi-circle of a dozen huge wooden rocking chairs on a large patio overlooking a canyon and golf course which we could also see from our room.

6. We stayed in the Tower and were forced to go back to the lobby and then backtrack in order to take an elevator from the pool area - or climb a huge number of steps (difficult with children) to reach the elevators in the Tower.

7. When I arrived at my huge corner room with a wraparound balcony and two French doors, one on each side, I found it to be clean, warm, and inviting.
