5. Great location, lovely staff (except for the poor schmuck trying to sell u time share all the time)The rooms are old and dated, but the major items are there and work well - comfy bed, good TV, hot showers, free internet (wired only tho), ability to make yr own breakfast and a cup of coffee.

9. Location is great, a 5min stroll to beach through the Market, free bus to Ala Moana, nice pool, food shopping very handy, can sit on the balcony and watch the night life, comfy beds, free internet access in each room, free 15min phone calls to anywhere in USA, lots of reasons to stay.

10. My upgraded room on the 2nd floor was compact and very comfy, with a little sitting room, kitchenette & balcony, good air conditioning, very clean bathroom and bed linens --I am noise sensitive and did NOT find it excessively noisy as other reviewers note.
