1. This is why its important to not stay at the Shore Club if you are expecting a laid back resort-style experience, so why complain about the particular hotel when this is generally not true of most hotels in South Beach? Stay here if you can get a room package for under $200 per night and want to be an elevator ride away from South Beach capital of chic, but don't stay here if you are looking for value and/or luxury in your hotel room.

2. After seeing a majority of other reviews for the Shore Club, I think many guests stay here without knowing what to expect of this hotel and of South Beach in general.

7. Nobu was literally like my local sushi place - why pay 4x? In general, Miami Beach has a high price point, but this place makes you feel like you're getting taken advantage of every step of the way - fyi, a bottle of Evian in my hotel room was $14.

8. The staff was generally friendly however we did not receive the room I requested the staff was not accomendating at all and did not apologize.
