3. I tried to ask for an upgrade as we were on the last stop of a fabulous honeymoon, and he said he couldn't move us that day, but could the following day, but that would have been pointless moving again for one night.

I hate to say that he was right and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the pool was my only big disappoinment - was a bit smaller and 'scummier' than I'd hoped for but I was over it within a day and found that we never had time for lounging by the pool anyway - the fabulous bathwater temperatures of the ocean were far more appealing when we did find ourselves chilling out.
