1. Really nice to be able to sit in the sun, cool off in the pool, warm up in the hot tub, cool in the pool and then dry off in the sun.

5. Also, what was totally awesome and appreciated about the room was that they have a ceiling fan right over the bed so you can opt for that to give you air/cooling instead of air conditioning.

6. You have many restaurants around (I recommend Freds and Cafe O'Lei) or you can eat in your balcony since the room has microwave and place to cool your beer or wine.

7. We also loved the fact that we had two air conditioners (one in the living room and one in the bedroom) plus a fan over the bed so it was very easy to cool off after a long hot day.

8. Breakfast in the spices restaurant (part of the hotel I think) was also very good, plus there is a very cool poolside bar with live music in the evenings.

Here is my list of things not to be missed: Pipiwai Trail (Kipahulu), Wailea and the ocean beach walk trail, Ferraro's restaurant, Mulligans on the blue (Celtic Tigers Band), Kapalua area near the Ritz Carlton (beachside walk trail), Makena, Napili beach, Cafe O Lei restaurant, Lahaina, Kaanapali (Hula Grill), Maui Ocean Center, Kanaha beach near the airport (hard to find but really cool.
