1. Although the newer rooms in the tower were fine (per friends on same trip), the overall ambiance of the Cortez was that of a pretty worn out place in my opinion.

7. His room is situated on top of the parking structure on the 5th floor (I think they convert it), kinda weird but has newer furnishings and decor than our room.

8. Sure, the NEWer suite had a Jacuzzi tub, that took FOREVER to Fill & Drain (basically worthless) & the furniture there was Spartan indeed (a small table & 2 rickety chairs).
