1. The lack of a full kitchen was a detriment in our opinion, but would not be an issue for anyone who did not care about preparing meals.

5. The hotel needs to address the lame locals who party at the pool - but, don't let the lazy staff get you down - it's paradise, so who cares?? I can't wait to get my Aloha spirit back in Lihue.

7. Some areas I felt were not safe be careful in the areas between Dukes and the shops while having dinner we were told that there has been a lot of trouble with fights and muggings with locals and tourists from the cruise ships, we senced this even before we were told.

10. There were lots of chilcken on the grounds too which is normal in Kauai but everyone there said to be careful and stay far away because they have fleas, I never foudn out.
