2. We ate at Rabia's on Salem, where we'd had nice meals on previous getaways, and had lovely meals in a quiet atmosphere.

3. Not so good: Valet parking is $42 and they ask for 30 minutes' notice to retrieve your car (ours was ready in 10 minutes but it was very quiet at the hotel.

8. I usually stay in the Theatre District, and while this location was not as convenient for my visits to my college attending daughter, it was worth it for the peace and quiet, and good night's sleep.
