1. And in general I don't like places that charge guests so much to park - $14 is steep for Austin when considering some mid-town Manhattan hotels charge $25.
"Regency's crown is polished, but guests $$ do buffing! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/25/2012 Vote
2. In terms of the general level of facilities, this is a high end, full-feature chain hotel, offering everything you'd expect from such a venue for a price to match.
"Very nice rooms and conference facilities, but noise and elevator wait unacceptable " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/18/2011 Vote
3. Now, I have to say that the staff really came through the next day at checkout I was asked if there had been any offer made when I called to let them know of the roach and when I responded that other than offering to send 'engineering' to kill the roach the young man offered a generous discount which while not necessary was appreciated.
"Small bathrooms in a older building..... " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/31/2011 Vote
4. The view and general refresh of the hotel, its proximity to downtown Austin for events and the lake location make for a very pleasant stay.
"Not My Usual First Choice for Austin, But a Pleasant Stay for SXSW " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/28/2011 Vote
5. The service was generally pleasant if not impressive, one of the bartenders was less than helpful when I was trying to find my colleagues but it wasn't anything worthy of getting upset over, just a sense that she could have been more service-oriented particularly as the bar at this point was practically empty and she didn't seem to be particularly busy or hurried.

6. My only suggestion for the restaurant would be to add some more generic dishes for those without daring palettes.

7. I had fairly high expectations, partially because the place had gotten such good reviews and partially because it's a Hyatt and I'd come to expect good things from Hyatts in general, especially since we're Gold Passport members.

9. Although architecturally the hotel may appear dated, the one thing that Hyatt is generally very good at is keeping the furnishings and public spaces up to date and this hotel was no exception.
"Great home away from home for a week " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/2/2010 Vote
10. When compared to other hotel chains in the US generally I like the Hyatt and Westin product the best as the are very consistent.
