5. The rooms are well-appointed, the food is excellent (as good as most restaurants--breakfast buffer was $18 and worth it), the staff is friendly/helpful, and the view of the lake from the river-oriented rooms is spectacular.

7. Eventually after contacting the hotel I was put in touch with a very helpful, friendly, professional concierge who promised to personally arrange rose petals in a path from the door to the bed and in the shape of a rose on the bed along with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries.
