1. The hotel A/C was on and blowing into the rooms and we had no control over that, so it had to be cold or whatever temp was achieved in the 'off' position, which was too warm, so we ended up getting up in the night a couple times and turning the unit on, then later off.

2. We did not really use any of the facilities in the hotel, so we can't comment on this but the staff were alwasy very friendly and very helpful with all our minor requests and overall gave a very positive impression.

3. On the positive side, it is close to a subway station that links directly to O'Hare airport and is within walking distance of the centre of Chicago.

7. I trawled for a long time on line to find a place in Chicago not knowing the area, there were a lot of positive reviews for the Hotel Blake and the free wifi was the final clincher for me.
