1. The view of the sunset was better from our room then anywhere else on the island so we had to stop ourselves from going back to the room every night at sunset.

2. However I was not happy with the view so when reception had calmed down I requested a change this was arranged with no fuss and was re allocated to the 20th floor, much better and a higher grade than I had paid for.

5. (The Hawaii Prince pool is very small and on a 5th floor deck and hardly anyone uses it - great for a quiet tan and reading though if you're a lone adult, like I was) Young singles or even couples would be better off in Waikiki, hands down.

7. On a previous trip, we were on the 28th floor and frankly, the view isn't that much better.

10. This is a no-frills hotel in comparison to the Hilton next door, but served our need fine, and we liked it better because it was smaller and more personal.
