1. This is a huge conference hotel, but every staff member I encountered was friendly, polite and helpful.

4. The hotel is huge - there is a jogging track, basketball court, tennis courts, pool, restaurants, etc.

5. I'm from DC so I'm used to city walking but Atlanta's city blocks are HUGE and that steep hill was the worst.

7. One of the things I really like about downtown Atlanta is the major hotels and buildings are joined together by skywalks--which means you can go many places downtown and not have to go outside, or you can 'short cut' to places because you don't have to walk all the way around huge buildings.

10. Secondly, we ate at the downstairs hotel restaurant, and it clearly did not have enough wait staff, and the manager was flummoxed that he was getting so many people at the lunch hour (the restaurant is huge, and IT WAS A CONFERENCE).
