1. Wonderfully comfortable, modern room, amazing bed, super helpful and polite staff, loved the view from the top floor rotating restaurant (you don't have to dine to go up but must show your room key) of 'the western hemisphere's tallest hotel.

3. There are many popular restaurants including the Hard Rock Cafe, but I'd recommend Pacific Rim Bistro if you're looking for some Asian fusion, my kids loved it.

8. Outside the hotel, there are plenty of panhandlers waiting to harass you, as well as a lovely Hooters across the street.

9. I was on the 51st floor overlooking the CNN Center, Aquarium, etc, and it was a lovely view when I did yoga in the mornings (with my mat strategically placed on top of towels).
