7. All of the staff is wonderful and friendly, especially one of the bellhops ( don't know the name, sorry) who got my husband and I some antiseptic wipes and medical salve after we were stung by a caterpillar while visiting the park at Jackson square ( apparently new oleans is having a problem with the creepy little critters because of their mild winter, so beware.

10. But the hotel itself was quaint, beautiful, rich in history, had a beautiful courtyard with a pool, french rod iron table and chairs, lush gardens, and a wonderful view of the lovely rooms.
