1. In the land of the 'big easy life' if you open your heart, slap on a smile, and just say 'hey, how y'all doing?' before asking for assistance, you will find that the South will charm you too, especially at the Place d'Armes.

7. There was a small entry area, and we had a four poster bed with a step stool to get into it, a huge closet, a bathroom the size of a small bedroom (with heat lamps and a huge tub big enough for two people).

9. The staff and management couldn't have handled it better, and as always, my wife and I are big fans of the Valentino family who own and manage this and other French Quarter Properties.

10. We are not big breakfast eaters so it was no big deal to us but the selection is limited to muffins, croissants, danish, some fruit, coffee and orange juice.
