3. The first source of disappointment was the waterpark - the main pool is much smaller than it appears in the photos on the website, and even with the other smaller pools, the pool areas are simply not big enough to accomodate the number of guests during peak periods - and forget about trying to get a chair if you are not waiting at the gates when the waterpark opens.

4. A few of the families got one of the big 2-story casitas on the property so we got to spend time inside those as well; they were comfortable and clean (Again the bathrooms and bedrooms were new; flat screen TVs, new beds, new counters, etc.

5. We had a really nice big suite with a huge living/sitting/social area and the table was straight out of an 80s movie with all the wear and tear you would expect for 20 years of sitting in a hotel room.

7. I have travelled extensively on business and believe my standards might be a big higher than the average, and I was very pleased with Squaw Peak, notwithstanding the dated exterior.
