The fact that it was an elegant and classic hotel with the hospitality to match were an added bonus The doormen were helpful in pointing out parking, and as they say it is much cheaper for them to vallet park your car then to park it yourself in the neighboring garage (ask them for the details).

10. I even passed staff members on my journey and was not offered help- Room service staff was unhelpful and generally rude- We requested an iron be sent to our room; an hour later we went down to the desk to fetch one.
