3. Yes, it was a bit worn-looking, but scrupulously clean, with a working TV with all the channels, nice bed-side lights, big windows looking out on to the street, and an immaculate bathroom.

8. after moving in to my 'big' room (that looked to be from the 1920s when it was the 1920s i headed to harry's pub (1st floor by the office) for a snake & a, much needed, drink befor going to bed.
