8. Harrington is close to several major landmarks and within walking distance of the Ronald Reagan convention center, so it has a significant draw due to its convenient location, and compared with other hotels nearby it is fairly affordable.

Though old and definitely in need of a remodeling, hotel was very affordable compared to others within same location and was in the perfect location for our DC destinations, so close that we didn't even use our unlimited weekly metro cards for 2 days as we simply walked to sites such as Crime Museum, Ford's Theatre, Archives, etc.
