1. Simple and inexpensive things like hardware on the doors was worn and no longer matched the finishes in the bathroom or other furnishings.

6. An ice machine seems like a fairly trivial thing, but having stayed in hotels where you have to ring room service to get ice I can tell you it's not.

7. Also, I never understand why cheap motels have free wifi, but you have to pay for it at more expensive places like the Hyatt.

8. Someone didn't like the shelf over the wash bowl in the bath room, but it was quite long--4 or 5 feet and wide enough to hold things.

10. It is three blocks from Union Station, so, if you are like me and you do not want to pay for a cab to get everywhere, it is perfect.
