1. They could do better if invest a little in renovation and take away all these stupid small extra charges: Internet ($11) definetly can be free, breakfast ($21 for buffet) can be cheaper and parking at $45 is way to high.
"Could be better. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/22/2012 Vote
2. Don't forget the Smithsonian Museums - they're fantastic, (and free).
"Decent hotel in a nice location... " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/29/2012 Vote
3. There was an ice machine along the corridor which was handy as I'd purchased a bottle of Bailey's in duty free.

4. Also, I never understand why cheap motels have free wifi, but you have to pay for it at more expensive places like the Hyatt.
"Great spot for access to Capitol Hill " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/26/2012 Vote
5. The food was totally overpriced (($60 for 2 salmon salads and one coke delivered during lunch in the conference room), the free wireless service (specifically ordered for this conference) did not function for any of the 3 days of the conference and some colleagues who out of sheer desperation had bought a paid internet connection from the hotel also could not get online.

6. If you have seen all of the monuments and want to do something else, the Natiional Gallery of Art, the Natural History Museum, and a number of other free museums are in walking distance.

7. 8) checkin and checkout were convenient and the staff was completely response to our needs and concerns; 9) two computers with free boarding pass printout capability were available which we used without incident.

8. So I was supposed to stay at this hotel March 7-9 and when I got there on the 7th, they said they had overbooked the hotel and were sorry but they would put us up for free in the hotel across the street(which was definitely equivalent, though smaller).
"Simply the best service I've ever had! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/20/2012 Vote
9. The parking fee of $45 really is too high, so we parked there the first night, then did free street parking for the weekend, followed by overnight parking at Union Station (15 minutes away).
"Can't beat the location " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/17/2012 Vote
10. National Art Gallery offers free audio tours, but is, not surprisingly, set up more for adults.
