5. I've housed 3 foreign exchange students, each for a year, from Germany, Czech Republic, and Turkey, so getting my point across to a non-English speaking person is not a new venture for me.

6. Let's start with the good: location was great for my business trip (Kennedy Center), walking to K Street businesses and shopping, Georgetown is walkable, 2 Starbucks within 3 blocks (one is a 24 hour Sun-Thurs), great new Whole Foods, and all Smithsonians and monuments within a 1.

8. I liked the hotel very much: it creates the sense of luxuriance: large, nicely decorated bedroom, separate kitchen room, everything is clean but well-maintained, though not brand-new.
