1. French bistro on the ground floor was excellent, big portions, and reasonably priced (try the tuna).

4. I didn't go in, but once I grasped that it was completely surrounded in mirrors, I think there was pretty much just a couple of exercise bike things and a few weights and some of those big exercise ball things.

5. Here's some of the things you can have at a Club Quarters that are negative/indifferent for vacationers that are big pros for a business traveler:* Convenient business district location (in Washington that is *also* convenient for tourists, but that's unusual)* Location is also usually convenient to public transit -- my company won't generally pay for a rental or livery service in big cities* Self-service check-in and check-out -- walk in, check in, walk up to your room* Inexpensive valet laundry service, sometimes a free laundry room (not in Washington)* Free (small) workout facility* 24-hour lobby, required key card in elevator for security late at night* Restaurant/bar open lateNo, Club Quarters doesn't have a concierge, a pool, locations that are convenient to museum districts or other tourist/nightlife hotspots, big, well-appointed rooms for families, etc.

8. On the negative side, the restaurant is a big disappointment for breakfast: low quality and choice for the money, non-friendly staff (unlike the hotel`s staff, which is fine) and bad service (some breakfast items often missing due to lack of attention).
"Ideal location for sightseeing, reasonable price " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/2/2008 Vote
9. It was maybe twice as big as downtown hotels in NYC or SF of similar vintage.
"Excellent experience in the heart of DC " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/16/2007 Vote
10. It`s gotta be the closest to the white house of any hotels unless you want to pay BIG bucks.
"Good location " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/14/2006 Vote
