1. The Georgetown suites may look in pictures like a behemoth of a hotel, but upon entering via the entrance's sweet, brick courtyard, you wonder if you aren't going to stay at a large cozy house.

7. On DC in general, it was great that the public museums are free (no wonder the States gripe about fereral taxes) and you can walk your feet off if you want to do all of the sights.

9. Staff were very courteous; very accomodating and always willing to help; parking garage was a little spooky and there was no attendant when we went in; the door leading to Geogetown Suites was not locked and couldn't be locked so anyone could come in the hotel; the only vending machines were on the 5th floor and the water one was not on and didn't look like it had been filled in quite a while (but then again each suite has its own kitchenette); the king size bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have every slept in got a wonderful full nights sleep; the pull out bed wasn't very comfortable for the kids; enjoyed to two rooms as they each had a TV, not that we spent a lot of time in the room, but it was nice when we were in the room and the kids wanted to watch something else; and it was very close to the buses for transportation purposes, we just left the car parked and used the Sightseeing Tour bus for two days.
