My room was plenty
big
for a couple and even a small child, too.

Once inside, true, it's more like a Holiday Inn -- not much character to the check-in desk, or the too-
big
silk flower arrangement at the entrance; but the people are warm and very accommodating.

Basically, what you miss in a
big
expansive lobby and in-hotel, on-site amenities, like a great gym, or a gift shop, or a restaurant, you MORE than make up for in the amount of space you get for the price you pay.

We had a really comfortable, huge

The desk staff was helpful, except for the tour they suggested, which was not what was advertised nor what they said it would be (
big
Bus Open Top), but that's another review.

The six blocks to Foggybottom is not that
big
of a deal if you don't have luggage, but could be challenging bumping over cobbles, sidewalk cracks, and the crowds of Georgetown when moving suitcases.

The reception area has a homely feel about it because of the breakfast eating area which is adjacent where you can get a cup of coffee and watch the
big
screen TV (although a drip coffee machine was supplied in our apartment, and restocked daily).
