4. Once inside, true, it's more like a Holiday Inn -- not much character to the check-in desk, or the too-big silk flower arrangement at the entrance; but the people are warm and very accommodating.

5. The Georgetown suites may look in pictures like a behemoth of a hotel, but upon entering via the entrance's sweet, brick courtyard, you wonder if you aren't going to stay at a large cozy house.

8. Basically, what you miss in a big expansive lobby and in-hotel, on-site amenities, like a great gym, or a gift shop, or a restaurant, you MORE than make up for in the amount of space you get for the price you pay.

9. The pricing was overall a great deal-- typically you can find some great deals through their facebook page (just need to 'like' their page), also you can do a few different searches through their website for different packages.

10. I hope that kitchen and bath renovations are in the works and that we'll be seeing the Georgetown Suites again in full grandeur, as we'd like to return.
