1. I didn't give the hotel more than 4 stars for a few reasons.

6. It was not my favorite Kimpton property the 1st time around, but for some reason on the night I needed a room virtually everything was booked and what was left over was extremely expensive (including Helix--but it was less so than the only other Kimpton in town with room available).

7. I decided to take taxis everywhere and the rates were very reasonable (usually under $10 for the two of us).
