1. What you don't get -- a fancy bar with overpriced drinks (but plenty are within a block or two); great food (though there is adequate room service); a touristy gift shop (but there's a 24 hour drugstore nearby for essentials); AND a $400/night bill.

2. Breakfast is expensive, as in most hotels of this type, but nicely done, and there are plenty of cheap places to grab a bagel in the morning.

8. There are a few restaurants on the same block, but plenty of restaurants along M street in Georgetown and there is a great grocery called Traders Joe just across the street on 24th.
