2. If you are a single 30-something or younger, the 'Gaslamp' and 'Old Town' party hearty till-you-stagger districts are a short cab ride away, and besides - a cab is much better to avoid the DUI danger, as well as the $20 minimum parking lots over there.

3. Note for families with young children--some windows have a low sill and open with only a screen that could easily be pushed out--very dangerous when you are 3-5 floors up.
