1. My primary goals in selecting a hotel were to be close to the trolley/bus line so I wouldn't have the expense of renting a car, to have breakfast included in the room price, and to be centrally-located in a safe area.

4. Just in downtown San Diego it's either cheaper hotels that have their issues,such as this one and the Holiday inn on the Bay,or really nice,expensive hotels like the W or Sheraton.
