1. We honestly did not have a problem with noise at all so don't worry too much about it.

2. The pool was clean as was the pool area, it was too cold for my liking, as it was chilly out there, but my son swam in it without a problem.

3. I do have to add that the train was loud when we were awake in the room without the air on and the tv low, but that cannot be avoided, and most of the hotels in this area have that problem.

4. Actually, this is a problem in all Hampton Inns where we stayed.

5. so that wasnt a problem, nor was traffic noise a problem, but then I am used to London traffic and we found the traffic in san Diego to be very quiet, certainly on a par with London at 2am.

7. Yes, the commuter train track is right behind the hotel, but we always travel with a 'white noise' machine, and slept without any problem.
