1. If they knew that this room had a problem, why didn't they offer to move us? Why would they put ANYBODY in that room?Also, there was mold around the patio door to the pool, the TV channels listed in the pamphlet hadn't been updated since they switched providers TWO MONTHS earlier (and there are far less channels available now), and the room needed updating.

2. We had a small problem with one of the screens in our suite and it took about 10 minutes from the time I called the front desk till the time the maintainence man showed up and repaired it instantly.

3. My problem with this room came later in the evening when I was out on the patio ~ the homeless started arguing whether you can spend the night in a public rest room or not.

4. The main problems were that the room was kind of dark (not in a view room) and sound carried from other rooms and the hallway so it was loud at times.

6. The first room we were given had a problem with the plumbing but they moved us to another room and upgraded our room on our next visit.

It has been years since I have been able to go for an evening swim in the ocean (the pool looked nice but I like the sea) also it is close to lots of good places to eat within walking distance and last but certainly not least, the staff was very accomodating and frendly and when I had a problem with registering on line (my fault) the magement went out of there way to fix things to my satisfaction and these days that is truely rare.

I have to say that between Melissa and Catherine, I could have had a bad association with my stay here, but I only have great things to say about the location, the friendly (over used I know, but really, happy friendliness, not the kind that you know 'it's just their job to act like they care) assistance with a problem that was really none of their responsibility makes me want this hotel to continue to be a success and popular.
