It was very much alive when caught but I was not able to talk to the front desk about it right away and

The hotel has two elevators, but only one was working, so on a sold out weekend, we had the
unfortunate
task of having to stop at every floor, and watch families get stuck hoping that the next elevator would be able to accomodate them.
