1. It's close to Miramar, so we often saw and heard military aircraft, although the noise didn't interfere with sleeping at all.

7. It was a great place to grab breakfast in the morning, the hotel was clean, our room was quiet, there was no traffic noise, and it was a short 10 minute drive to La Jolla Beach where we saw seals at sunset.
