4. Normally when I stay in San Diego, I stay in downtown; however, all the hotels were very expensive in downtown this time, so I chose this Best Western Plus based on price.

7. first room was to the front, but because of naval helicopter noise across the bay (post Bin Laden/ SEALS etc heightened security) they were happy to move us to the back, overlooking the marina, for no extra charge, when I know from booking this room was more expensive.
