1. unfortunately, other people were having a meeting there, so we couldn't go in during that tour but the bellhop then took us upstairs to look from what used to be the tallest point in San Diego.

2. The room was nice, but the view unfortunately was of the backside of the hotel so all I really saw were rooms across the way and the top of a lower level roof.

3. unfortunately, our room was not ready by check in time of 3pm (even though we requested early check in), and they asked us to wait even longer saying no rooms were available.
"Clean but a little disappointing " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/16/2011 Vote
4. There is a parking lot on every 4th corner, but since so few people use that parking they allow homeless people tent cities to flourish and then they charge outrageous prices for those unfortunate suckers (like myself) who require overnight parking and convenience.
"Decent location, cool concept, worn out " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/30/2011 Vote
5. unfortunately, the complements stop there - I stayed for 4 nights but only allowed my room to be serviced once because on the first day of service the staff who cleaned my room ate some of my food, spilled it on the floor of my room, and failed to clean it up after their feast.

6. The only downside were the down pillows, which are unfortunate for those with allergies (it would be nice to see comfortable hypo-allergenic pillows and bedding in such a tasteful hotel).
