3. I didn't have a car (walked everywhere and loved it), but I think parking is somewhat of a hassle and expensive.

4. The parking is expensive but that is pretty much the case in any hotel in this downtown/gaslamp/bay area.

5. We decided to stay in the Marriott Courtyard Downtown because of the description of the hotel as a renovated bank with unique architecture and, also, because it was less expensive than the Marriott Marina and Courtyard Gaslamp.

7. I probably would look for another place to stay if I had a choice but given the football game and the large convention we were attending, most of the more reputable hotels downtown were fully booked or way too expensive.

8. ' was ask if we could have a couple champagne glasses and Alexis not only brought us a pair to our room but at her own expense dashed out to get us a 'champagne stopper' so we could savor our champagne over two sessions.
