The hotel is on the border between the Gaslamp Quarter and a somewhat seedy area of the city, but this was not a

We valet parked and the valets were great with giving us directions and were very fast with getting our car (I have had
problem
s with other Marriott Hotels nearby and their valet being slow and actually damaging co-workers cars).

One
problem
was the huge bathroom door which opened up with its entire face directly against the nightstand of the bed.
