1. All of that meant to say - there is very little reason to stay in any other part of San Diego, especially the overrun, noisy and congested Hotel Circle.

2. CONS: Small bathrooms, can get a bit noisy (depends on which room), oddly shaped rooms (we stayed in Victorian room this time around, and our bed was diagonal in room, kinda odd, but I guess it works), very small tv (we never used it, but if you want a big tv, it isn't).

3. This is a very old hotel (1915) and even tho they have updated it you still get old - very small rooms, the heating/air conditioning unit in the wall was so drying and noisy we turned it off.

6. We stayed in the Talmadge Suite which was very noisy from street traffic and a very annoying audible crosswalk signal (electronic chirping bird and bicycle horn) This suite is huge but only accommodates two.
