7. The park was literally right across the street, so that was great too, and it was far enough away from the beach and downtown to avoid horrible parking and most undesirable people.

9. If you`re looking for cookie cutter, boring hotel room then I would avoid the Balboa Park Inn, but if you`re looking for a clean, friendly, cozy place with character.
